La Jolla Surprise Proposal Photoshoot | Karl + Yue

Visiting from the mid-west, a surprise proposal was in the making. A phone call discussing different scenarios, plans, and just hearing about their story, Karl had all sorts of excitement that I can hear and feel in the air. The day was overcast, but you know me, I love the clouds just as much as I love the sun. The colors and the sun peeking through painted a beautiful photo and setting for the proposal.

Not all proposals are created equal and so are the reactions. As much as wild, crying, exciting reactions are contagiously a joy to be around, so are the ones that are secretly bashful, humbly blushing…… the moment is just as powerful. In this beautiful and humble surprise proposal at Windansea La Jolla, I was so happy to capture this moment!
