San Diego Surprise Engagement Proposal | Mike + Lauren

Timing is everything. You can plan as much as you want, but sometimes it doesn’t go the way you envision and there’s this word…improvise. Windansea beach, a beautiful spot and popular for sunset time. With a few potential spots mapped out for this proposal, we were presented with a fisherman, a family photo shoot, and some people just chillen around…for what the sunset?!?!? yes.. yes yes.

So, I kindly as I would as a tourist, ask the fisherman to take a photo of me. Then in secret conversation ask him to leave while I took over his cliff spot to continue my landscape photo. I’m such a pushover.

BUT, it was for all good reasons. I mean, Mike needed a pretty spot to propose. I mean… what human being would decline a small request to move for just a few minutes… ? (cruel people!) but luckily there weren’t any that day. Thank you kind sir wherever you are.

For that reason, we captured a great proposal, with lots of cheerings from the public crowd, with no one falling over the rocks, and well a beautiful sunset to top it off. tear feels all around.
